Meet Traci Mason

Traci Mason is a faithful intercessor with a heart for God’s people, especially women. While experiencing difficult times and health problems, Traci came to realize the importance of fully trusting God, and now strives to encourage others to depend on Him no matter what.  During those times she was able to “smile through the trials” and learned to maintain a positive outlook.

Many often wondered how it was possible, so with God’s help, Traci developed Eyes Fixed, A Ministry of Encouragement for Women (II Chron. 20:12).  This multi-faceted group seeks to minister in creative ways, reaching out to women from various backgrounds and age groups through prayer, book clubs, discussions and lessons on Biblical living, and worship workouts that involve exercising to uplifting music while fully focusing on God.  She wants everyone to experience the true joy that comes by having Christ in your heart and relying on Him as the head of your life, even in difficult circumstances.

Traci has been a guest speaker at such Christian gatherings as the nationally known, Christian Working Woman, founded by radio host Mary Whelchel of WMBI. Whelchel describes Traci as a woman of great integrity as well as great creativity who truly loves people and has a servant-attitude toward helping others. Behind her quiet demeanor is a woman of deep thought, deep conviction and great perseverance and she simply does not give up.”

Traci’s gift of helps is also evident as she has served on the Board of Directors for nonprofit organization Deer Ridge Ministries, which provides free week long retreats and a time of spiritual renewal and rest for those in full time ministry.

Traci is an Early Childhood Educator with nearly 20 years experience. She received her Master of Education Degree (M.Ed.) in Early Childhood Leadership and Advocacy from National - Louis University.  She has served as Master Teacher for the State Pre-Kindergarten Program for Chicago Public Schools and as Education Coordinator for Head Start. Traci has also designed, coordinated, and implemented an interactive group for parents and children ages birth to three for a school district in Chicago's south suburbs.

Traci is the author of Sister Barnabas and Don’t Throw That Away (www.creativiteach.com), and has been a presenter for numerous churches, The National Association for the Education of Young Children, Parent Institute Days, Good Shepherd’s Week of the Young Child, the Illinois Family Literacy Conference in Springfield, IL as well as other conferences and Christian gatherings.

Traci is a member of Faith Family Fellowship Church where her husband and best friend of 16 years, Mack C. Mason, is the Pastor.
